Introducing The Data Lab Leaders Forum - our new events series for Data & AI leaders

Published on 20 October 2026

We're excited to launch of The Data Lab Leaders Forum, a new quarterly event series bringing together senior data and AI leaders to share experiences, discuss common challenges and learn from one another.

Our first event, The Reality of Delivering AI (18th November, 10:00 - 12:00 GMT, Bayes Centre, Edinburgh) will focus on the challenges of putting AI into practice.

The session will explore some of the common challenges organisations are facing when implementing AI, from governance, data quality and infrastructure to skills, adoption and demonstrating business value.

Rather than a series of presentations, the focus of these events will be on open discussion, giving attendees the opportunity to compare experiences, share what's working (and what isn't!) and learn from others facing similar challenges.

Who should attend?

This first session is specifically aimed at senior technical leaders in data, analytics, engineering and AI, particularly those at Development Lead, Head of or Director level who are directly involved in delivering AI or shaping its implementation.

We're keen to bring together perspectives from startups, SMEs, large organisations and the public sector.
