Each month we introduce a new theme to The Data Lab Community. This is a way for us to anchor discussions, content and events each month, and also allows us to take our community members on a journey of growth and development in the longer term.

As we continue to face into the climate crisis and head towards COP26 in Glasgow, our theme this month is ‘Our Planet’. We will showcase how data can be used to understand the crisis; how our members are innovating using data to tackle key challenges; resources to improve our understanding; and opportunities to contribute and collaborate.

Want to get involved?

We’d love to hear the perspectives of as many of our member’s as possilbe here, so please drop us a message if you have experience or insight in any of these areas that you'd like to share (for example through case studies / blogs / interviews / workshops / anything else you think would bring value to our members!)

Where will I find the discussions?

We'll be posting questions and starting discussions in both the main Community Forum and our vairous Group Forums. Make sure to join the groups that are relevant to you so you don't miss out!

We'll also be posting interesting articles, blogs and more in the Live Feed and News tab, and our monthly event will be focussed around the theme too.

What if I have a question about something else?

Don't worry, we still encourage you to start and join conversations about any other topic you want! The monthly themes are just a framework, and there will be countless other conversations going on each month.

As always, if you have any questions or feedback, just drop us an email at community@thedatalab.com or drop our community manager Paul McMillan a DM.
