Realising the Vision for Public Sector Data

Thank you to everyone who took the time to read and reflect on the draft vision of public sector data in the 6 week 'challenge' phase. We have gained lots of rich, thoughtful and considered feedback and really appreciate everyone's input to this process.

The Data Lab, along with Scottish Government and NHS National Services Scotland as sponsors of this process continue to work together as we move into the next 'realisation' phase. Anyone who has expressed an interest has been contacted for an initial update meeting on 16 December at which we will be outlining what's happening next.

We know that the draft vision for public sector data is only one step, but we believe it's a powerful starting point to help move us towards a place where data is fully recognised as a vital component in delivering public services efficiently and effectively.. The feedback we gained through the challenge phase will be invaluable to informing it's development and realisation.
